Prof. Iman Saca Appointed Member of the Palestinian Higher Education Council

A Presidential Decree issued in Ramallah on 6 October 2025, announced the appointment of Prof. Iman Saca, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Bethlehem University, as a member of the Palestinian Higher Education Council, representing civil society and Bethlehem University.

The Higher Education Council is tasked with formulating and developing national policies for higher education and scientific research to ensure they meet the needs of Palestinian society and contribute to the public good. It also aims to enhance collaboration between universities and the community, foster innovation, and strengthen the overall quality of higher education and research in Palestine.

The Council is chaired by the Minister of Higher Education and includes academics, university presidents, public figures, government representatives, and private sector leaders.

Bethlehem University congratulates Prof. Saca on her appointment, recognizing it as a testament to her exemplary academic leadership and ongoing contributions to higher education.
