Bethlehem University welcomed a delegation from the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education, led by Dr. Ayyoub Alyan, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs, and Ms. Lamees Al-Zeer, Director General of Education in Bethlehem Governorate, accompanied by a team of Ministry experts.
The delegation was received by Prof. Iman Saca, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Grace Elias, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Ahmad Fasfous, Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research; Dr. Fadel Alsawayfa, Chairperson of Early Childhood Education; and Dr. Rizek Sleibi, Lecturer in the Faculty of Education.
The meeting centered on key topics relating to the Ministry’s strategic vision for the future of education, focusing on ways to strengthen collaboration between Bethlehem University and the Ministry. Discussions also highlighted opportunities for joint development initiatives that would contribute to advancing the educational sector across Palestine.
This visit underscores Bethlehem University’s continued commitment to fostering strong, long-term partnerships that support national educational priorities and promote meaningful improvements in teaching, learning, and community development.
