The Zbierski Library was pleased to welcome Dr. Hala Nasser and her students from the EDUC 326 A and B Research Methods sections for Library Information Sessions held on 5 and 6 November 2025. These sessions reflect the University’s ongoing commitment to strengthening students’ academic skills and supporting their success through accessible, high-quality learning resources.
The sessions began with a welcome from the Library Director Ms. Elizabeth Dsouza, who introduced students to the library’s facilities and highlighted how these resources can support the development of their upcoming research papers. She also demonstrated the check-in and check-out process and encouraged students to make full use of the study areas and learning spaces available to them.
Librarian Ms. Mirna Zoubhi guided students through searching the OPAC and locating books on the shelves, giving them practical tools to navigate the library independently. Librarian Ms. Juana Juha provided an overview of the library’s electronic resources, emphasizing their importance for conducting strong literature reviews and engaging with scholarly research.
Throughout the sessions, Dr. Hala Nasser encouraged her students to explore, check out materials, and fully engage with the resources offered by the library as they prepare for their research assignments.
Faculty members who wish to arrange similar sessions for their classes are invited to contact the Library. The team is always happy to assist and provide guidance that strengthens research and learning across campus.
