Department of Engineering – Chair

Meet the Chair

We welcome you to the Department of Engineering at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Technology, and Engineering. The inauguration of the Engineering Department aligns with the vision and mission of Bethlehem University, which is to provide scientific and practical cadres capable of serving the local community and its needs.

We have initiated our first engineering program, a Bachelor’s in Sustainable Energy Engineering, which encompasses all types of inexhaustible sustainable energy sources. This program is a leading specialty, developed in partnership with the Salesian Foundation – Bethlehem and the Shukri Dabdoub Faculty of Business Administration at Bethlehem University. It offers graduates, as energy engineers, global employment opportunities throughout the entire life cycle of energy, in areas of energy extraction, adoption, authorization, refining, transportation, distribution, and utilization. Additionally, the program equips students with marketing and business management skills to enable them to start their own projects.

The program consists of theoretical scientific courses, practical courses, laboratories, simulators, and computers, through which students can acquire the knowledge and skills required for the job market. This program is supervised by a team of highly experienced faculty members, including engineers, doctors, and professors.

I encourage you to apply for this unique program that will shape your future and open up new and unconventional career opportunities.
