Hosted by Bethlehem Business Incubator (BBI) and Yunus Social Business Centre (YSBC) at Bethlehem University’s Faculty of Business Administration, the newly established Global Shapers Bethlehem Hub is making a significant impact on the betterment of our world.
The Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, serves as a global network that unites inspiring young individuals under the age of 27. These young minds collaborate to address a spectrum of challenges at local, regional, and global levels. With a presence in 505 city-based hubs across 152 countries and a membership exceeding 14,000, the Global Shapers Community boasts a truly global reach.
Led by Bethlehem University graduates, the Global Shapers Bethlehem Hub acts as a focal point connecting passionate young visionaries, innovative concepts, and local resources to tackle critical community issues affecting Bethlehem. For the year 2023-2024, the hub is guided by a dedicated team of 17 members, all working collectively toward the overarching objectives of the Global Shapers Community. This concerted effort is turning the aspiration of improving the state of our world into a tangible reality.
The hub’s motto, “Shape Your Future,” encapsulates its mission, which intertwines personal, community, and global dimensions. Through the Global Shapers Community, young individuals find their voice to advocate for a brighter future.
This initiative aligns seamlessly with the vision of BBI and YSBC, as it establishes a platform for youth to assume leadership roles and create positive impacts within their community and far beyond.
