Bethlehem University is deeply saddened to announce the passing of a revered member of its philanthropic family, Mr. Frank Jungers, on 10 October 2023, at the age of 97.

Since 1998, Mr. Jungers had been an influential supporter of the university, making substantial contributions that have significantly impacted its mission. In recognition of his unwavering support and dedication to the university, Bethlehem University named Mr. Frank Jungers and his wife Julie as Legacy Patrons of the Bethlehem University Foundation.

Mr. Jungers’ remarkable contributions to higher education and philanthropy were celebrated in 2017 when Bethlehem University presented him with an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities, Honoris Causa. The award was conferred at a reception hosted by the Bethlehem University Foundation at the Apostolic Nunciature of the Holy See to the United States in Washington, D.C.

His enduring support and commitment to Bethlehem University’s educational mission earned Mr. Jungers profound recognition, and his legacy lives on through his lasting contributions. In December 2017, Mr. Frank and Mrs. Julie Jungers established the Frank and Julie Jungers Clinical Supervision of Nurse Trainees Endowment, furthering their dedication to nurturing educational excellence.

Mr. Frank Jungers’ profound commitment to education and unwavering dedication to Bethlehem University will forever be remembered, and his legacy of support will continue to illuminate the path of educational excellence for generations to come.
