On Wednesday, 11 November 2020, the Executive Vice President of Bethlehem University, Rev. Dr. Iyad Twal, and the Secretary of Qatar’s Permanent Committee for the Support of Jerusalem, Major General Bilal An-Natsheh, signed a cooperation agreement that aims primarily at supporting Jerusalem students enrolled at the University.
Rev. Dr. Iyad welcomed the delegation and praised their efforts in supporting education and their continuity to support Jerusalem students due to the difficult economic conditions they suffer from.
Major General An-Natsheh praised the role of the University in providing the Palestinian people with quality higher education. He pointed out that the agreement signed with the University aims mainly to decreasing the financial burden of Jerusalem students.
We thank Qatar’s Permanent Committee for the Support of Jerusalem for their support for the third consecutive year.
