The Palestine Institute for Biodiversity and Sustainability (PIBS) at Bethlehem University is seeking to hire a temporary Researcher and Curatorial Assistant. The position requires (with the support of PIBS director) an experienced person to help with museum exhibit development, specimen preparation, conduct research, write proposals, supervise junior staff, and contribute to biweekly educational workshops. Depending on position-holder’s productivity and the availability of funds, this can morph into a longer-term position.

Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree, from an accredited college or university, in Biology, environmental studies or a related field. A PhD. holder would be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in education and research in biology or the environment.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Research experience evidenced by published work.
- Driver’s license
