Following the official opening of its newly established Hub, Bethlehem Business Incubator- BBI, started an intensive capacity-building program for the 51 selected participants (37 females & 14 males), divided into two groups, with innovative business ideas in the tourism sector. The purpose of the program is to equip the participants with the knowledge and the skills needed to transform their business ideas into successful businesses in the southern part of the West Bank during the pre-incubation process.

The program contains three main pillars: Entrepreneurship, Green Skills, and Soft Skills. With over 105 training hours, the program is designed specifically for these participants, to prepare them to design their business products and services, and to train them on how to enter the market and run their businesses.

Participants started with an entrepreneurship training course created based on interactive exercises to refresh their knowledge and reshape their business ideas.

The Tourism Innovation Hub – TIH, is a new space established within Bethlehem Business Incubator -BBI at Bethlehem University in partnership with UNESCO and funded by the Belgian Development Agency (Enabel). TIH is  an enabling co-learning, co-working environment where youth and women can benefit from a wide range of services and supporting programs that encourage collaboration, networking, and innovation in the tourism sector.
